Last Friday saw a team made up of owners, staff and friends commence dismantling what Mirra has been to date.
First to arrive was the big skip which didn't take long at all to fill as we sorted through old bits and pieces, threw away broken furniture and disposed of the carpets. It was the store room that was first emptied into the main room for sorting. While this was happening the bar was being dismantled and new one measured up - exciting!!
Then the task of removing from everything from the walls on the entry to the bathrooms and also on the bathrooms to make way for the sexy new ideas that interior designed and owner Leonie has planned for this space.
The entry carpet and side room carpet was next to go and then the team took to the trees in the courtyard and removed them to allow for the new look courtyard.
Basically Mirra is almost back to a blank canvas with some old features that will remain and is now ready to be attacked with a paint brush which will commence this week.
Everything seems on track to arrive and be completed within the 33 days time frame and we are super excited about the end result.
